JUNE 6, 2026 | PROVIDENCE, RI
The Schedule
Welcome Party
Friday, June 5th | 6:30-9:30PM
Rooftop at the Providence G
100 Dorrance St, Providence, RI 02903
The welcome party will be a casual event. No seated dinner but there will be lots of apps and pizza to fill you up, and an open bar! The dress code is casual. It is located on a rooftop, so bring a hat/sunglasses if you need them. We'll have sunscreen to share. Don't worry - if it rains, we can close the roof. The venue is a short walk down the street from The Graduate. Children are welcome!
Ceremony and Reception
Saturday, June 6th | 5:30-11:00PM
Roger Williams Park Botanical Center
1 Floral Ave, Providence, RI 02905
What's the dress code?
Think garden party - we will be in a botanical garden, after all! Anything from casual to cocktail is appropriate. The most important thing is that you are comfortable! It could be steamy in Rhode Island in June (and the ceremony will be inside a greenhouse), so feel free to skip the tie and jacket if you prefer. Some of the reception will be outside but the paths in the garden are all paved.
How do I get there?
If you're coming from The Graduate, there will be a shuttle leaving at 4:45PM sharp to bring you to the Botanical Center. If you miss the shuttle, it's a quick Uber ride to the Botanical Center. The shuttle will also bring you back to the hotel when festivities end around 11PM.
If you're driving to the Botanical Center, there is free parking on site.
Can I bring my kids?
While we would love to include everyone, we are only able to accommodate children of close family. Thank you for your understanding!
The Details
Accommodations
For our guests who are coming from out of town, there are lots of hotel choices in downtown Providence, but we recommend that you stay at The Graduate, for these reasons: It is only a block away from the Friday night welcome party, there will be a shuttle from the hotel to the ceremony and back, and you will be in good company (we are staying there, too)!
Travel
Planes
The closest airport is TF Green in Warwick, RI. It is a quick 15 minute taxi/Uber ride from the airport to downtown Providence, but it is a smaller airport so you may not find direct flights from where you live.
Another convenient option is to fly into Boston Logan Airport and take the commuter rail to Providence. The train ride is under 2 hours and the hotel is a 10 minute walk or a 3 minute taxi/Uber ride from the Providence train station.
Trains
If you are coming from Boston and prefer not to drive, the commuter rail will take you to Providence and the hotel is a 10 minute walk or a 3 minute taxi/Uber ride from the Providence train station.
The Amtrak is an option for those coming from New York, Philly and DC, and will bring you to the same train station as above.
Automobiles
If you are driving directly to the ceremony and reception, there is free parking at the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center. If you are driving from out of town and staying overnight, The Graduate has self-parking for $39 per day, and we will have a shuttle to transport guests between The Graduate and the ceremony/reception.
Registry
Your love and support is the greatest gift and truly all we need! We are fortunate enough to already own many of the essentials, but if you want to help us upgrade our home together or contribute to our honeymoon fund, you can click here to visit our registry.
Welcome to Rhode Island
Rhode Island is the biggest little state in the union, and Providence has lots of great art, food, shopping, history and nature! If you're looking for something to do on Saturday before the wedding, here are some recommendations:
Spend the day at the Roger Williams Park Zoo.
Explore downtown Providence, walk around College Hill, check out the beautiful architecture on Benefit Street.
If you want to be like high-school Allegra, walk and shop along Thayer Street, enjoy some delicious falafel at East Side Pockets and a coffee at Coffee Exchange on Wickenden Street.
Grab a beer at Narragansett Brewery.
Check out some classic Italian restaurants on Federal Hill.
Tour the RISD Museum.
Grab a hot weiner from Olneyville New York System, wash it down with some coffee milk or an ice-cold Del's Lemonade. RI Classics!
